FAQs: WHEN YOU BUY

A. If you buy an edition of an artwork, you own fractional ownership of certain rights of the original artwork. It is a limited license to enjoy the artwork on your selected mobile devices, and smart TVs at any time and to re-sell the edition(s) on the Kbean platform. See the Limited License.

A. The Primary Market is the initial sales market where artwork is sold.  An artist or seller upload the artwork and buyers may acquired one or more editions of the artwork.  See Section 2 (b) “Primary Market” in our Terms and Conditions.

A. The Secondary Market is a sales market where the previously purchased edition of artwork(s) is sold.  A user who previously purchased editions of artwork on Kbean platform then resells the editions on the Kbean platform.  See Section 2 (c) “Secondary Market” in our Terms and Conditions.

A. Kbean secures digital art rights by using innovative cryptography technologies (i.e. Blockchain) to create an auditable trail, thus preventing fraudulent activity.

A. A buyer does not pay any service fee to Kbean, but only Paypal transaction fee. The transaction fee is waived if the buyer uses Kbean’s reward points “Supercoins.”

A. Supercoin is a reward point system. Customers can earn Supercoins as they buy more editions of an artwork at a time. Supercoins can be redeemed as a coupon within Kbean or for other promotional items or events. See Section 19 “Supercoins,” in the Terms and Conditions.

A. One Supercoin is rewarded every spending of $20.  For example, if you purchased $45.00 worth of an artwork, you receive two Supercoins. The original artists continually earn Supercoin as their artwork editions are being traded in the Secondary market.

A. When you purchase an edition(s) of an artwork, you can redeem Supercoins as a coupon. If your balance of Supercoins is enough to pay for the full transaction, the Paypal transaction fee is waived. During certain promotional occasions, Supercoina can be used to redeem promotional item or event tickets.

A. For the best experience, we highly recommend using Roku TV, Apple TV or Fire TV where Kbean channel application is available. After Kbean channel installation, the display devices of your choices will be saved in your mobile application and stream your owned collections directly to your TV. If OTT (Roku TV, Apple TV or Fire TV) devices are not available, you can install Kbean channel directly from Samsung store or LG store. If other display devices are used without Kbean channel application, features or quality of images may vary depending on models or may not function properly.

A. Because the product is digital content, your purchase is not eligible for refund or return. You can always resell the edition(s) back on the Kbean marketplace. See Section 21 “Returns,” in the Terms and Conditions.

A. If you saved the artwork in “My Wish” or “Art I support,” you may send an interested-to-buy notification to the current holders of the artwork.

A. No. Kbean platform is only for digital media.

A. No. The right for commercial use is not given in the limited license. You may contact Kbean customer support@kbean.com for inquiries relating to public use and commercialization but in general, the artwork is subject to a limited license prohibiting such usage. See Limited License.
